Our vision is to create a place for friends and loved ones to gather, and enjoy the wonderful things in life, just like we do. Located in the middle of Lake Erie North Shore’s wine country, Stone’s Throw Cottage Oxley (STC Oxley) offers comfort, relaxation and serenity – in a casually elegant space to call your own while enjoying the Windsor-Essex region. We look forward to hosting you.
Kitchen
Stainless steel appliances include a large fridge, gas stove, dishwasher and microwave. Other amenities include, a toaster, crock pot, coffee maker, cooking pots, and utensils. We also have a Napoleon barbecue for your grilling pleasure.
Living Room
Kick back on the comfortable sectional couch, enjoy the flat-screen television, pair the playlist on your mobile device with our blue tooth compatible sound bar system or enjoy the peacefulness of the gas fireplace.
Master Bedroom
All linens are provided for you in the beautiful main floor bedroom that features a queen-sized bed, en suite bathroom with a shower and a private patio door, leading to the deck. A relaxing retreat at the end of the day!
Guest Rooms
There are two, comfortable upstairs bedrooms, one with 2 full-sized beds and the other with 3 full-sized beds. All linens are included.
Bathrooms
The Cottage features two full bathrooms. One bathroom is ensuite-style, connected to the master bedroom. The other bathroom features a spacious, tiled walk-in shower and also houses the washer, dryer and supply closet.
Deck
Our wrap around deck is the perfect setup for sun-sitting and moon-viewing. We have lots of Adirondack chairs to position as you wish, for optimum relaxation as you enjoy the panoramic view of Lake Erie. There is also a gas, outdoor fireplace for your enjoyment.

Visit 18 wineries (either self-directed or guided tour), treat yourself to delightful culinary experiences, birding excursions, rounds of golf, cycling adventures, shopping trips, and/or night life … all in one region. Colchester Beach is located 4.6 kilometers west of Stone’s Throw, a 6 minute drive away. Windsor/Essex boasts a number of festivals and events throughout the year, please check the links to see what’s happening in the neighborhood during your stay.
